Natalia Mileszyk is currently the Vice-President of COMMUNIA Association. She is a lawyer and public policy expert dealing with digital rights, copyright reform and openness. She works for Centrum Cyfrowe Foundation, a leading Polish think-and-do-tank, where she analysis and comments on the social aspects of technology and a need for human-centred digital policy. She is also active in Creative Commons Poland (Chapter Lead of CC Poland) and represents COMMUNIA Association in the European Union Intellectual Property Office. For the last three years, she has not only been actively involved in copyright reform advocacy at the European level, but also made sure that the access to knowledge community was empowered to be active in this process – she has co-organized “The School of Rocking Copyright”, a series of capacity building and awareness raising workshops that support copyright advocacy efforts in Europe. Right now her main areas of expertise and engagement are internet platforms regulations, automated decision-making and human-centered digital policy.
